The best way to pattern mix is to focus upon a single color family. Since navy and white is my absolute favorite combination to wear, when I got this polka dot cardigan I knew I had to pair it with something equally classic and cute. My gingham shirt is without a doubt one of the most worn items in my wardrobe, but this is the most fun combination I’ve ever come up with! This is also my favorite recipe for dressing for spring when it’s still freezing cold.
Hello! Boy, do we have a lot of catching up to do. I’ve been a very, very bad blogger and I took a two-week hiatus.
I spent my very last spring break of undergrad with my best friends at a beach house in Delaware. It was chilly, but it was so. much. fun. It was so nice to take a step back from school and just relax and spend time with the people who will soon disperse across the country. We don’t know when we will all be together again after graduation!
Once I returned home to Philly I quickly repacked for a flight to Cincinnati the very next day. I drove up with my boyfriend and spent a weekend with my family in Indianapolis, which was so lovely. We spent the rest of the week at his parents’ house in Cincinnati preparing for his brother’s wedding on St. Patrick’s Day. There’s nothing better than a wedding, and this one was so special because Joe was the best man. We had so, so much fun, and it was so sad to make the long drive back to Philly to go back to class. (We skipped a whole week for the wedding!)
So here I am, back to the grind and back to the blog. I’ve really, really missed it! I can’t wait until this weekend when we’ll have a chance to shoot some outfits so that I can get some real content up for the first time in a while! Here’s a recap on what I’ve been loving for the past couple weeks. Read more
This is one of my favorite spring outfits! You can never go wrong with feminine details like bows and pointed flats for spring. I wore this J. Crew skirt so much last spring and summer, and I’m so excited that it’s been warm enough to pull it out again for the past few days!
Today I’m just sharing a quick roundup of some of the cutest pajamas I’ve seen around the web.
I’ve always loved pretty pajamas. When I was two, my Nana got me a long white Cinderella nightgown. I loved that nightgown; I felt so girly when I wore it, and I didn’t stop wearing it until I was about six and the arms got way too tight and it turned into a long shirt instead of a dress.
My love of pretty pajamas hasn’t changed since then, and in fact, the pajamas I’m wearing here were also given to me by my Nana. I guess the love of pretty nightwear is hereditary. Read more
