This is one of my favorite spring outfits! You can never go wrong with feminine details like bows and pointed flats for spring. I wore this J. Crew skirt so much last spring and summer, and I’m so excited that it’s been warm enough to pull it out again for the past few days!
The warm weather came at a great time, too, because this week I’m heading to Bethany Beach, Delaware for spring break! Not exactly a tropical destination, but I can’t wait to relax with my friends for a few days, take a quick overnight trip to D.C., and just get a break from school. I can’t believe my last semester is halfway over already! The real world is really creeping up on me quickly, but it’s so exciting. I’ve been talking to employers this week; cross your fingers for me, I’m dying for an ad agency job in Philly!
What do you guys think of these photos?! This is my first outfit shoot using my new camera lens, and I am obsessed. Everything looks so much more crisp and bright! I’m slowly giving the blog little upgrades, and this lens (along with my new blog design!) is a total game changer.
I’m obsessed with blouses that tie in a bow at the front; they always look so classy and put together.
This tweed mini skirt is so gorgeous! It’s old J. Crew so unfortunately it’s not available anymore for me to link for you, but I found some similar options! I love the springy colors in a traditionally wintery fabric like tweed, it’s such a pretty juxtaposition, and it makes the skirt appropriate for all seasons.
Both of these pieces are so, so versatile in my wardrobe. They’re both items that I can wear for both work and play, which is always a consideration for me. They’re also appropriate for all seasons! Versatile pieces like this are so important if you’re on a budget because you can wear them so much – for any occasion in any season! The top, especially, can be paired with so many different bottoms to create many different looks, and it can be worn tied in a bow or undone for a more casual look. I highly recommend picking up a top like this if you don’t have one already!
This bag is a $20 dupe for the Chloe Faye bag; I previously featured it here. It’s so pretty for the price!
Finally, these red flats. Oh my goodness, these flats. I cannot stop wearing these! I’ve worn them almost every single day since I got them, and they are the best. They’re the J. Crew Gemma flats, and they’re so comfy and gorgeous. The pointed toe just makes me feel so fabulous, and the little bows add the perfect touch of sweetness. I can’t even tell you how much I love them, I am dying to pick up this pair too.
